Today was my LAST DAY OF SCHOOL !!!!!! Pencils down. That's all she wrote. WHAT THE HECK?! It feels very surreal. I don't think it'll sink in until they hand me that diploma in a few weeks. Then I can breathe a sigh of relief (and run as fast as I can before they realize they actually didn't mean to let me in).
After I handed in my final paper, I had so much crazy, pent-up energy that I ran around in a circle and jumped up and down for awhile (not really, but I thought about it). Instead, I went for a long run along the Charles River (seemed more practical). In celebration, I ate a (possibly expired) can of Chef Boyardee (in desperate need of a grocery shop) and downed a giant, 99 cent Arizona Green Tea.
Now, I have a couple of weeks to pack up my apartment (and work on some 'semi-secret' projects, one of which I'm excited to share soon!) before graduation at the end of the month.
All of that Boston snow finally melted (luckily averted paddling myself out of it) and spring is in full bloom! I plan to spend as much time as possible outside soaking it all up while I can. Reading in Harvard Yard or Boston Public Gardens is one of my favourite things to do. It's especially pretty leaning against a willow tree and looking around at all of the fresh, colourful flowers. (Feels like the Wizard of Oz when all of a sudden it goes from black-and-white to technicolour)
[And now that I've finished all of my school work, I'll have more time to post some blogs that have been queued up for awhile so stay tuned!]
