My Psychic Reading with C

When I first received an e-mail for a Skype/phone psychic reading from a woman who goes by C, I was skeptical. I'd never had a psychic reading before. My only experience with getting my fortune told was from the slips of paper in my Chinese food take-out order - and at the end of a yoga class when the teacher allowed us to draw a tarot card, but I had to google what it meant and didn't find it to be very relevant. I've always taken any sort of clairvoyance with a grain of salt and a heavy dose of realism. I also wasn't sure how it would work without C meeting me in person. How could she read "my energy" and get a sense of who I was through the phone?

But, after learning more about C's psychic readings in Notable Life and Bustle, I decided to give it a try. Why not? I thought.

Humans are hard-wired to want to know how others perceive them. In fact, most of us enter relationships because we feel that the other person has read us so well. We like to feel seen. We like to feel known.

I entered into my phone reading without any expectations, just a light curiosity of what this virtual stranger would pick up about me.

Our phone call ended up being almost an hour long. C was very friendly and personable. She began the call by letting me know that she used tarot cards as a guide, but as a clairvoyant, the message mostly came through her. The goal at the end of the reading was to leave me with an action plan that I felt comfortable with moving forward. She requested that I not give her any information or back-story at all, only if confirmation was required as we went along. Having zero to go on from me, I was impressed at how well she drove the conversation and picked up intuitive thoughts about my career, health, hobbies, parents, sisters, boyfriend, etc. Some of the takeaways are personal, some will be revealed in due time, so without giving away too many private details, I can say that she had a good sense of who I was and the independent forces that drive me.

It was like a therapy session, in a way, whereby C spoke and I listened and interpreted what she said as it related to me. It's always up to you to decode the messages you're given, whether it's from a TV show, a song, a book, a poem, a podcast, or a psychic. Nothing is in stone, but I do think hearing someone else validate something you've been mulling over, consciously or subconsciously, stirs up your deepest desires and spurs some form of action.

Overall, it was an enlightening experience and one I would recommend if you're looking for a little clarity in your life. The reading helped me realign with my path and my purpose.

C followed up with me in the days after with a recording of our session and offered to answer any lingering questions I may have. If you're curious to learn more, you can visit C's website where she offers Skype, phone, and e-mail readings.
